All About Millie

I can't believe you turned 19 weeks last Friday, November 30th.  It's going to soooo fast my love.  You are such a happy baby and you are always smiling and happy to see me.  My face lights up as does yours when we see each other.  I do believe that we will always have a special bond and be very close.  (at least that's what Mommy wants) 

We started you on rice cereal and introducing baby foods, you are not a fan my dear.  You'd rather have breast milk and that's it.  We are trying different rice cereals and oatmeal and you still are not a fan.  I am going to try to introduce more baby foods soon as see if we can find some that you like.  I'm hoping this is not a sign that you're going to be a picky eater. 

We went to see Santa for the first time a few weeks ago on November 17th for your 4 month pictures.  You were such a good girl and we got some great pictures.  Mommy took tons of pictures this past weekend and I can't wait to get them all edited and post them on Facebook  our blog, everywhere.  You did really good.  You've learned quite fast my dear that the camera is always in your face and to just let Mommy get some good pictures and the camera goes away.  ;) 

Your nicknames are Mills, Mill, and Uncle Clint calls you Windmills b/c you like to toot a lot.  

You are so loved by your cousins and pretty lucky to have not one but four big boy cousins to watch over you.  You truly are the love of my life and have made my life sooo much better.  The happiest I've ever been is since becoming your Mom.  God had the best little girl picked out for me and I'm so blessed to be able to be your Mom.  I love you to the moon and back Millie girl!!!

Mommy is very excited about our breakfast with Santa on the 22nd, I can't wait and it's such a fun tradition to start with you.

Weekend with Family and Picture Dump

This past weekend my sister, brother in-law, and nephew came in town. We started off Saturday having pictures made of all the grands and then I took Jonathan and did a photo shoot of him for my sister, pictures to come later, I have to edit them tonight. We had a blast with all 5 kids, getting their pictures made was not easy, but we got it accomplished. The people at Sears were not too happy, but they got over it. We had a blast. Here is some of the kids and Millie from this past week. I can't believe my baby girl is 16 1/2 weeks old, why does it have to go so fast? I miss my baby, but I'm glad that she is a happy, healthy, growing, sweet

Just Another Monday!

Have you ever had the best intentions to do something and just never do? That was me part of the weekend. Yes, I've had a migraine for the past 2 1/2 days, and I'm talking full blown yesterday, throwing up, dizzy spells, can't stand up for long. It was awful, if I had decent insurance I would have gone tot he minor med for a shot, but no such luck right now.

So, this morning I had a job shadowing interview and I really really need a job because I really need to buy myself some clothes for fall because bills really do need to be paid. SO I am hoping and praying that I get the job. Please pray I do for me.

So back to the weekend. I went to dinner with my Dad and nephew Saturday night while my Mother was out of town. I picked up my nephew and he asked me to call Papa and see if he'd take him to dinner. I told him I'd call but he had to ask and he had to get me an invite too. So he did and the 3 of us had a great dinner at McAlister's. Then yesterday, I finished laundry, cleaned, vacuumed, threw up a few times, took nausea medicine, yes all b/c I had a killer 2 and a half days of a migraine. If you don't have migraines, count your blessings and thank God, I'd do anything not to get them and them not to be so bad. I take a daily bp medicine as a preventative and while it helps, it's not a cure-all.

I went to see Final Destination 3-D Friday since I was off work. Note to self: this is your one and ONLY 3-D movie. (a 3-D movie for someone who has such bad migraines is probably not a smart idea and I'll never do it again!!!)

Today is Monday and since I went to a job interview/shadowing this morning, I am taking it easy and getting my run in this afternoon so that I can be lazy and sit on my butt watch The Bachelor Pad without any distractions tonight. B/c let's face it, I have my priorities in line.

What I'm Loving Wednesday!

I'm loving these shoes that I found at Target the other day. Shoes make me so happy as does Target.

I'm loving these 3 little guys who can get me to do a slip 'n slide at my age at the youngest ones 2nd birthday party. Yes, I at my old age 28 yrs. old did a slip 'n slide b/c they begged me. I'd do anything for them, even almost make hurt myself a fool of myself.

I'm loving that we only have 2 days left in the work week, come on Friday!!!

Halloween and Faith Family Fall Festival

I hope everyone had a great Halloween weekend.... I did. Friday, I went to dinner with my girl, Alison and some of her friends, then we were suppose to go to the Haunted House at trinity Commons, but the wait was going to be 2 1/2 hours, so we decided that since we probably wouldn't get through till well after midnight, we would bring our tickets back and go Sunday night...I'm glad we did, we had a blast running through there. Good times!! (are we too old for that?) Here are a few shots from Friday.

We had such a blast...then it was on to Trunk or Treating at the church last night with my nephews..

and one of the littlest, love bug and the dog, Cricket (hot dog)...Cricket was a hit and Trunk or Treat and even ate a few pieces of candy too.

Just Another Manic Monday!

Wow, it's Monday again, already? Although, I can't wait to see The Bachelorette season finale tonight, I can wait to be at work!!! I wish we had one more day to this weekend. I enjoyed doing pretty much nothing, although I did go to the movies this weekend. I saw Charlie St. Cloud. Anyone else seen it yet?

It was a sad movie, ladies, take some kleenexes with you. I did enjoy it but it was again, sad. The boy's came over and we had some fun this weekend, playing Wii, playing outside, and watching movies. I love my nephews and they have been great relief from the saddened heart break I've been feeling this last month after the end of what I thought was going to be my forever relationship after 4 years. Thanks to God and my family for helping me get through this tough time.

Thoughtless Thursday

Ever woke-up to a screaming child?

This morning, all I heard when I got up and came in the house was my nephew screaming. He was screaming b/c he was playing a video game, nonetheless, he was screaming. Boy's are SO different than girls and I couldn't imagine a little girl 6 yrs old, sitting there screaming telling someone else how to play Mario on Wii. It was quite amusing though. At first, I thought something had really happened, but quickly realized that he was just trying to teach his Papa how to play the game right. Never a dull moment with kids around. Sunday Fun

I hope everyone had a great weekend, mine was really boring and pretty slow. I've been busy trying to redo my place, but it never seems that I get very far on the weekend. I did manage to finally find some new pillows that I'm sleeping on alright. I have a hard time finding pillows. Anyone else ever have this problem? They're either to hard or to soft, but I'm hoping these I found at JcPenney's will be just right.

So, after church as always, we all go to my parents for Sunday lunch. This Sunday the boy's were in a mood and were having lots of fun running around and acting silly, so I thought I'd snap a few pictures of them.

What fun times. I can't believe how big they're getting and that Nathan will be in first grade this year. Wow, it makes me sad and he's just my nephew, so I can't imagine how Michelle feels.
