Parties, All Nighters, and Good Times with Friends

So this past Friday night, I went out for my friend Shelly's 29th birthday party, while we had a great time and I can't speak for anyone else but we all I had too much to drink that's for sure. Since I haven't been able to really drink to much and cut loose over the last 4 1/2 years b/c I was ALWAYS the DD and ALWAYS the responsible one in my previous relationship, I let loose and had a ball.

I also have been realizing how much FUN single life can be sometimes. I never would have gotten to go to this b-day party b/c my ex would have told me I couldn't have gone b/c he was a control freak abusive ass. Excuse the anger in my tone, but after WASTING 4 1/2 years, I am REALLY MAD AT MYSELF!!! I am having SO MUCH FUN, but I could have been having this much fun YEARS AGO if I had just LEFT when I knew I should have. Err....kicking self hard is not going to change anything, so I need to stop doing that. Anyways, here a few shots of our great FABULOUS time!!! I even made it home with $125 that I have NO CLUE where it CAME FROM!!!! Happy Birthday to me I mean Shelly!! ; )

Oh well, it was all I great time regardless of the mess I got into or what I lost or even what I found for that matter. I had a great time!!

Mamaw's Birthday and Labor Day

So, a week ago tomorrow was my Mamaw's 91st birthday, so we took her out to dinner at Side Porch Steakhouse. I love going to Side Porch and so does she so we thought it would be a great place to go for her birthday.

We had a great time reminiscing over old memories and talking about what great shape she's in, etc. She impresses me everyday with what all she still does at 91!!!

LABOR DAY

I hope everyone had a great labor day!!! I know we did, we went to my Uncle's in Tupelo and had some real good filipino and american food. Yum!!! We swam for a few hours, then ate, then swam some more. : )

We had such a blast!!!! Now I'm exhausted now after a long day by the pool and way too much yummy food. I hope everyone had a fabulous Labor Day!!!

Weekend Round-up

Well, I hope everyone had a great weekend!! Mine was spent between my parents couch in their den and laying on their bed while watching movies with them. I started out feeling fine Friday night, woke up Saturday feeling sick with a migraine and then it just got progressively worse. We had to go to a birthday party for my cousin's son, A.J., who was turning 3!! We had a great time, minus me feeling bad; I even got in the blow-up bouncy thing/slide (not sure what the actually name for it is). The kids had a blast and loved that they could get me to do the slide with them. Then, we had to go from there to a 90 year old's birthday party. I remember this time last year, I was pulling my hair out planning my Grandmother's 90th around this time. While it was a great success and lots of fun and yes, even at 90 she was surprised; it was also a whole lot of work!! Next time I if I ever throw a surprise party I will definitely plan for more people to not follow directions not to RSVP, it seems you always have some that don't RSVP even when asked too, but hey, if you plan like me, you'll have tons of food anyways.

On a side note, I participated in a baby shower blog guessing giveaway at Jamie's blog. To my surprise, I was the closest guess.
