The Bachelorette

I am a HUGE Bachelor and Bachelorette fan. Anyone else at there? Is anyone watching this season with Ali? I personal love her, minus all her messy hairdo's. I mean really, she looks cute, but her hair, why is it always so messy?

Okay, so I have to confess that yes, I went out and bought the People magazine this week with non other than Ali on the cover and dishing about, her job at Facebook, Roberto and Chris, etc. While I like Chris, come on, there's just something about Roberto and his dimples. Yes, my pick for Ali is Roberto, he seems like a really sweet and don't forget romantic guy. Who will she choose, will she choose anyone? I guess we're all waiting to see Monday night on ABC.

Thoughtless Thursday

Ever woke-up to a screaming child?

This morning, all I heard when I got up and came in the house was my nephew screaming. He was screaming b/c he was playing a video game, nonetheless, he was screaming. Boy's are SO different than girls and I couldn't imagine a little girl 6 yrs old, sitting there screaming telling someone else how to play Mario on Wii. It was quite amusing though. At first, I thought something had really happened, but quickly realized that he was just trying to teach his Papa how to play the game right. Never a dull moment with kids around. Another Book Finished

Well, thanks to Caroline at Simply Smithwick's for recommending Emily Griffin's books. I finished Something Borrowed tonight. I finished it in under 4 days. I couldn't put it down, all I wanted was to see how it was going to play out and finish. I definitely recommend this book. I'll have to make another run to Barnes & Noble tomorrow, man I am definitely getting my money out of the "book/rewards/membership" card that I bought in January. I have saw a book at B&N the other day that I want to read, "Sliding into Home" it's by Kendra Wilkinson, one of Hugh Hefner's former girlfriends; you can read a little about it here. I do want to get Emily Griffin's other books as well. Man, I give Caroline a lot of credit for turning me on to some great books that I could not put down. I also think that reading how she and her husband are spending a lot more time reading and not just watching t.v. really makes you think. I know I tend to come home, workout, shower, and then spend the rest of the night fixing dinner and watching t.v. This is a lot better use of me time.

Also, did anyone watch Big Brother tonight? I know that this show is "old" to some, but I still can't get enough of it. I've watched EVERY season, just like I've watched every season of, "The Bachelor" and "The Bachelorette", I heard that this is going to possible be the last season of "The Bachelor", I sure hope not. I'd be so lost without it. : (

Well, I think I'm going to head off to bed and maybe catch-up on my soaps. Night all.

Sunday Fun

I hope everyone had a great weekend, mine was really boring and pretty slow. I've been busy trying to redo my place, but it never seems that I get very far on the weekend. I did manage to finally find some new pillows that I'm sleeping on alright. I have a hard time finding pillows. Anyone else ever have this problem? They're either to hard or to soft, but I'm hoping these I found at JcPenney's will be just right.

So, after church as always, we all go to my parents for Sunday lunch. This Sunday the boy's were in a mood and were having lots of fun running around and acting silly, so I thought I'd snap a few pictures of them.

What fun times. I can't believe how big they're getting and that Nathan will be in first grade this year. Wow, it makes me sad and he's just my nephew, so I can't imagine how Michelle feels.

Hope everyone has a great Monday!

New Book

So, I am trying to get better about this blog thing and we'll see how long I can last. I started reading a new book this week, "Something Borrowed" by Emily Griffin. Have you heard of it or read it? Caroline, at Simply Smithwicks recommended her books and this is the first one have gotten to read so far. It's really good and I've really been enjoying it thus far. My big plans for the weekend are to finish moving furniture and redecorating my place. Huh, I have a hard time getting motivated to finish once I start sometimes, but I'm determined to have my place looking great by the end of next weekend. I really want to go to the movies, but I'm not sure there's anything good currently out that I want to see that I haven't already seen. I hope everyone has a wonderful weekend.
