Millie's 5 Months

Mommy is sorry that I am so late doing this.  

You are 5 months now,  you love to eat baby food, you started really reaching out and grabbing things on December 20th.  You love to smile and laugh, you coo all the time.  You love to poo, you have no problems handling your business.  You had your first meeting with Santa and you just smiled and stared at him.  You are currently wearing a size three diaper and weigh 16 lbs 7 ozs. You sleep better when you're on your tummy, but you don't like to play on your tummy on your play mat for long periods of time.  We made your miseltoe foot prints and you did not like the paint on your toes.  You are such a sweet girl and Mommy is so crazy about you.

Mille's First Christmas Part One

I hope everyone had a fabulous Christmas, to say this was my best Christmas ever is an understatement.  Millie has brought such joy and happiness into my life, I feel so truly blessed.

Our Christmas festivity's started out with Breakfast with Santa on Saturday, December 22, 2012.  You were so cute and everyone as always says what a beautiful happy baby you are.  

Then on Monday, December 24, 2012 we started out with Christmas Eve Lord's Supper at church, then went to the Thompson family Christmas.  You were so cute and your cousin Sumner loved holding you.  

Christmas morning you woke up to find that Santa had come to see you, you must have been a really good girl because he brought you a really, really big bear.  Mommy got you a shirt and a puff vest and the shirt says happy because you are always happy.  Santa brought Mommy an ipad mini and she was very very excited about it.

Millie,

I can't believe you turned 19 weeks last Friday, November 30th.  It's going to soooo fast my love.  You are such a happy baby and you are always smiling and happy to see me.  My face lights up as does yours when we see each other.  I do believe that we will always have a special bond and be very close.  (at least that's what Mommy wants) 

We started you on rice cereal and introducing baby foods, you are not a fan my dear.  You'd rather have breast milk and that's it.  We are trying different rice cereals and oatmeal and you still are not a fan.  I am going to try to introduce more baby foods soon as see if we can find some that you like.  I'm hoping this is not a sign that you're going to be a picky eater. 

We went to see Santa for the first time a few weeks ago on November 17th for your 4 month pictures.  You were such a good girl and we got some great pictures.  Mommy took tons of pictures this past weekend and I can't wait to get them all edited and post them on Facebook  our blog, everywhere.  You did really good.  You've learned quite fast my dear that the camera is always in your face and to just let Mommy get some good pictures and the camera goes away.  ;) 

Your nicknames are Mills, Mill, and Uncle Clint calls you Windmills b/c you like to toot a lot.  

You are so loved by your cousins and pretty lucky to have not one but four big boy cousins to watch over you.  You truly are the love of my life and have made my life sooo much better.  The happiest I've ever been is since becoming your Mom.  God had the best little girl picked out for me and I'm so blessed to be able to be your Mom.  I love you to the moon and back Millie girl!!!

Mommy is very excited about our breakfast with Santa on the 22nd, I can't wait and it's such a fun tradition to start with you.

Weekend with Family and Picture Dump

This past weekend my sister, brother in-law, and nephew came in town. We started off Saturday having pictures made of all the grands and then I took Jonathan and did a photo shoot of him for my sister, pictures to come later, I have to edit them tonight. We had a blast with all 5 kids, getting their pictures made was not easy, but we got it accomplished. The people at Sears were not too happy, but they got over it. We had a blast. Here is some of the kids and Millie from this past week. I can't believe my baby girl is 16 1/2 weeks old, why does it have to go so fast? I miss my baby, but I'm glad that she is a happy, healthy, growing, sweet 

girl.

Millie is 16 weeks!!!

Happy 16 Weeks to my little angel!!! I can't believe she's 16 weeks already, where has the time gone? This week she went to her first Memphis Tigers game!! GO TIGERS!!! 

Millie this week you:

Rolled over for the first time on November 5, 2012, proud Momma!!! (front to back) 

November 4, 2012 you had your first case of a cold and pink eye, yes my darling you had pink eye before you could even really play.  you must have picked it up at church, since that's the only place you really go with other people.

You watched your first Presidential election, even though we were for the opposing guy and he lost, you looked so adorable in your I <3 font="font" i="i" made="made" nbsp="nbsp" romney="romney" sticker="sticker" you.="you.">

You are such a joy Millie, I love you more than you'll ever know and I'm so thankful that the Lord decided to let me be your Mommy.

Millie's 3 Months

** I wrote this on October 21, 2012, but I forgot to hit post so this was late being posted.

My dearest Millie,

You are three months yesterday baby girl.  I can't believe that it's been three months since you made your debut.  You are such a joy and so sweet.  You love to talk to me and smile, you love your Papa dearly and the  boys (your cousin's) are crazy about you.

You sleep about 6 hours and then want to eat, sometimes you'll sleep through the night, but most of the time you want back in Momma's bed so you're up.  Yes, Momma is trying to break you of co-sleeping and it's not going very well.  You will sleep through the night if I allow you to sleep with me, but Momma needs her sleep too and I worry too much if you're in the bed with me.  (Worst thing I've done yet, I wish I had never started her co-sleeping)

You love to smile and talk, you love to be rocked and to cuddle. You enjoy your playmate  you're not fond of the swing or boucy chair at this point.  But you're truly a happy baby and that's all that matters.

Millie's First Halloween

Millie is a strawberry for her first halloween.  Millie is such a happy baby, I truly am blessed..

Millie 12-14 weeks

My sweet Millie,

I'm sorry for doing 12-14 weeks all at once, but Mommy is behind.  WOW, I can't believe today that you are 14 weeks!!! Where have the last 14 weeks gone?  You are such a sweet baby and you're happy 99% of the time.  You love to smile and to talk and you sure are crazy about your Papa.  (he's pretty crazy about you too.) 

As always, Momma has a camera in your face and you're not always happy about it but you do sometimes smile rather quickly so that I can hurry and get it out of your face.  You're learning well my dear, that if you give Momma 5 good pictures, she'll put the camera down for the day.  (Spoken like I true photography lover)

Your sleeping in your crib now, your not always sleeping in there all night, but you are starting to get the hang of it.  Momma tries not to let you sleep with her much these days, because we both need are sleep, but sometimes we do cuddle if you wake yourself up at 4 a.m. 

You love your playmate although, you'd rather me put the playmate in the middle of the bed then lay you on it rather than the floor.  Thank God for a king size bed. ;)

You love to kick, but Mommy knew that already, since you loved to kick when you were in my tummy.  You  definitely have some strong legs, you are starting to really have some great head control and love to move your head all around and to look for things.  You love when your spending time with Papa to stare at the pictures of the boys on the wall.  You are so loved by the boys, you surely will be one protected little girl with 4 big boy cousins.  

You are the sweetest little girl my precious baby and I love you more than you'll ever know.  I pray daily that we have a wonderful relationship.

Happy 11 Weeks Millie!!

Happy 11 weeks to my sweet girl.

Millie, 

You've been on this earth for 11 weeks, 77 days, 2.5 months!!  You are such a joy and a blessing.  I wake up so happy to see your sweet face, I go to bed every night praying that you will have a wonderful life.  While i can't give you everything, I can give you what you need the most and that's my love and support.  I pray daily that you will not lack for anything, yet times are hard as a single Mom and I want to be able to give you everything I had and more.  I pray you will not despise me for not being able to give you everything others could.  I hate the fact that you don't have a backyard to play in, a house of your own to live in, a bedroom of your own, but the one thing you do have is all my love, my unconditional, never failing love.  You are the BEST part of me and the BEST thing that has ever happened to me.  I pray that you have a happy and full life.  I love you sweet angel, more than you will ever know.
